Toyz2Kingz workshops
Following on from a successful series of workshops earlier this year, Toyz 2 Kingz returned to BYDS in Sexual Health week to create a "CHLAMYDIA" mural. The workshops ran over 3 weeks and young local people were given the opportunity to develop their skills whilst also learning about sexual health issues affecting young people. The resulting product was a mural focusing on 'chlamydia' (the focus of Sexual Health Week 08), examining the symptoms and causes.

Who are Toyz 2 Kingz?
Toyz 2 Kingz are two local young artists, Chris Atkins & Rod Fuentes who run street art workshops for young people in the Bankstown area. These workshops aim to encourage young people of all cultures and beliefs to unite and express themselves safely and legally. Participants are taught the basic aerosol techniques of shape, colour, line, texture, shades, contrasts, style and landscape design as well as how to use a wide variety of tools and methods to create their art.
