Forum Theatre
The Forum Theatre group consists of a group of BYDS' talented and committed young actors. This group facilitates regular workshops with school groups both in and out of the Bankstown region. Using the ‘forum theatre’ technique which was first devised by Augusto Boal, our group continues the tradition of interactive performance as a means of encouraging, demonstrating and negotiating such issues as sexual harassment, racism, domestic violence and bullying in an entertaining yet guiding format.
